Love these quote, I can identify so much with them.
I didn't need steel bars, I was a prisoner of my mind.
When I volunteered and did one on ones and meetings in the local jail, I use to say to the girls, "The only thing between you and me, is that you acting out your anger and I internalized." Why you are here and I am not or have been, is because I was never caught.
I could stop, well for a day or two, and it completely took over my mind and thought of little else, but I couldn't stay stopped, until I found the spiritual program of the 12 Steps. They helped me to build a relationship with my God.
