TIME MANAGEMENT

Many of us attempt to manage our time but we fail. We try to get all the things on our lists completed but we feel there is just not enough time. The problem we have is we are trying to do too much. We should look at what is most important to us in our lives, focus on those things and delegate or forget the rest. God should be our main focus and our number one priority. We should put Him first in our lives. When we do, everything else will fall perfectly into place. When we follow Jesus, He will help us manage our time.

Ecclesiastes 5:15-17 "So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to seek You first in all we do. We know we sometimes stay too busy with the things of the world and forget about You. We know we sometimes get distracted and sidetracked doing things we shouldn't be doing. We know we waste mountains of time doing things that are not what You put us on earth to do. Help us today to stay focused on You and do only Your will. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We should think about the three most important areas of our lives and work toward making them better.

God knows best what we need and when we need it. He can help us know how to best spend our time.

When we stay busy all day but get nothing done, we need to re-evaluate what we are doing.

When we choose to work for the Lord rather than man, He will help us get things done.

When we follow Jesus, He will help us manage our time.

Matthew 6:33 "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." (NLT)

Focus: Let God be the manager of our time so we are doing His will and not our own.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
