There Are Signs
Few of us ever paid any attention to the signs we were getting that there's something wrong with us. Most of us got used to just blowing these off. By doing this the only thing that happened is the signs got louder and stronger. Something was trying to get us to realize there was something wrong. We usually have to reach the point where it's very obvious what's wrong before we even begin to think about becoming willing to do something about it. This process can be very scary. Sometimes we have to see our whole life flash in front of us. This usually gets our attention knowing it could have ended there. Recovery teaches that these signs are from our higher power that loves us unconditionally. That no matter what we have done we are still being cared for. We just need to know that is why there are signs, because something loves us has always loved us, and wants to always help us.
