Grateful for a new day.
Grateful that Housing came by early, so my day is open.
Grateful that it is raining, may even storm, which means I can stay home and watch TV or read.
Grateful for my home and the things in it.
Grateful for the food I have to eat. Thinking chicken to eat, no chicken to do!
Grateful that my God and I met this morning and He said, "Yes" to being with me through this day.
Grateful that the site is up and running, and we have a chance for a new beginning, I hope you will join us.
Grateful for all those who share this journey with me. Thank you for being a part of my sobriety.
Grateful the program is open to all.

Late again with my gratitude.
Grateful for another day of sobriety.
Grateful that the sun came out after hiding for most of the morning.
Grateful, although it is needed, the rain stopped and hopefully my pain will ease.
Grateful for the site, and for what it does for my recovery in today.
Grateful there are no commitments today, one busy day is enough, and I can play catch up.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey.
Grateful that a day can start any time. My bed is calling me.

Grateful for another day of sobriety.
Grateful that I can stay sober through my pain, although the soundness of mind is some what questionable on some days.
Grateful that I have been getting some sleep.
Grateful that the sun is shining. I hope it is still there when I wake up so I can get myself outdoors.
Grateful for the little things in life, which often turn out to be big things in my eyes. i.e. Losing something and saying a prayer to to be led to it, and if I don't find it, I know it is not meant to be in the moment, or I am blind in one eye and can't see out the other.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.

Grateful for another day.
Grateful that day is filled with sunshine.
Grateful that I found where I had posted previous articles so I could catch up.
Grateful for my cranberry tea.
Grateful for a quiet day, hope to do some reading, have to catch up there too.
Grateful that I remembered to start the chicken soup early.
Grateful for the blessing received. My son came by and didn't stay.
Grateful for all of you who share my journey with me.
Grateful for my sponsors, especially for the one who suggested that I pray for others and that I pray that they get, whatever I prayed and asked for, for myself.
Grateful for the gifts that are shared by others:

Quote:
Help Me To Stay Sober

~Dear God,

Thank you for this day.

~~Help me to stay clean and sober, just for this day.
~~Help me to recognize your hand in all things. ~~Thank you for the blessings I understand and the ones I don't.
~~Thank you for the miracles I see and the ones I don't.
~~Thank you for your spirit who always abides in me. I ask that I may be with your spirit today.
~~Cleanse my mind of all darkness and fill it with love and light.
~~Let me be o.k. with this day no matter what it brings.
~~Thank you for everything that's in my life and everything that's not."

Peace and Blessings

Grateful for a new day, it will be long and busy, hope to go to my meeting at noon.
Grateful to get some much needed tasks done today.
Grateful for the visit with my friend, haven't seen much of her since her husband passed away two years ago.
Grateful I got to watch my TV show tonight, although I tried to be on the computer at the same time, it just didn't happen.
Grateful for my 2 hour nap today or I would never have been able to stay up, as it is, I have been wanting to go back there since, but have fighting it because I have things to do tomorrow.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.

Loved reading through your gratitudes Jo....took me a bit to get signed back on here....but with help here I am.....your gratitudes helped me to recognize those things I may be missing in this journey of recovery....not a day passes by ...today I live in happy memories....living in the past is not recovery it is getting stuck in a place I can't change....I can only live in today, and in today I find the gift...now Off to create my own gratitude page! Wish me luck, Peace, Schell

Grateful for another day of sobriety.
Grateful that a day can start any time, I feel like going back to bed, but don't want to miss tennis.
Grateful that just because I am in pain, I don't have to abuse my medication. I met a guy in the mall the other day. He said, "Jo I am like you, in chronic pain 24/7." He then proceeded to tell me the narcotics he was and proceeded to tell me how he was generally high in the sky. He made me very grateful that I haven't gone there. The body manufactures the pain to say you need more. I want to live my life, be aware and live in the moment. I can't do that, because drugs and alcohol take my life away.
Grateful that I seem to have a virus and the flu on top of the arthritic pain, just means a closer walk with my God.
Grateful that just for today, I choose not to use.
Grateful to all of you who share this journey with me.

Hi Jo, I finally got my gratitude page going...Just want to say how grateful I am that you are a big part of my sobriety...thank you for the reminder that you gave with that story about the guy you ran into at the mall...was thinking in the past how my diseased mind would go right away to "hey what do you have on you"? etc, I liked what you said about your thoughts and gratitude for another day sober,,.I have always loved but for the grace of god go I." It has always said so much to me in such a simple way...hits home every time. Peace to you, Schell

Grateful for each new day.
Grateful that the word is an action word, and I am now able to come on line and share with everyone.
Grateful that this morning was mostly pain free, and even though things are catching up with me, I am grateful that I can listen to my body and say "No" we need to take a break.
Grateful that I have a mall downstairs and I don't have to go outside to get to it. We have a door that connects us to it, because it is cloudy and looks like we are going to get more rain.
Grateful that I got to watch the CMA Awards on Wednesday, one of the best shows I have seen in a long time and so glad I could sit and enjoy it.
Grateful that I am having a head start on the holiday season and can listen to smooth jazz versions of Christmas Music.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.

ADD SOME MUSIC TO YOUR LIFE AND REMEMBER TO DANCE!

Grateful for another day.
Grateful that the only pain I felt this morning was body stiffness from crashing on my bed and not moving all night.
Grateful that the sun is shining.
Grateful that curling is on. My favourite, Team Howard, just won!
Grateful that the sun is shining. Wanting to go out, so we will see what unfolds.
Grateful for those who share this journey with me.

May God's Grace be with you.

Grateful to be clean and sober.
Grateful that my treatment today was so healing.
Grateful that I could catch up on some posts.
Grateful that the sun was shining and even though it snowed, the sidewalks were bare.
Grateful for music. I have been listening to Christmas all night, maybe that is why I posted so many holiday pictures. I watched Garth Brooks for about 5 minutes and turned it back to my music.
Grateful that I am able to read, hopefully the treatment will allow me to sit still and concentrate long enough to read a book, instead of taking 3 days, that is not normal for me.
Grateful for the Christmas decorations in the mall, they helped me to get into the spirit of the holiday.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.
If you can't find anything in your life to be grateful for, make one up or just be grateful that you are clean and sober today, grateful for the roof over your head, the food you have to eat, never forget to look for the blessings your Higher Power sends your way. When you see them, always remember to say, "Thank you."

Grateful for another day, sober but not much serenity.
Grateful for the gift of meditation.
Grateful for my program.
Grateful for this site.
Grateful that I can come here and other sites, to find what I need in today.
Grateful for cheese. Not up to cooking tonight, so having boursin cranberry and pepper soft cheese.
Grateful that curling is on, even though my team isn't winning.
Grateful that I have three hours of Chopped on the Food Network to watch.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.

Grateful that I made it to another day.
Grateful that yesterday was a productive day.
Grateful that my dinner turned out (roasted pork loin, rice and corn, another reason to give thanks) and I was able to cook it and eat it too and do it justice.
Grateful that there is another game of curling today for the men's finals. I thought they were playing for Worlds, but it was a team of eight playing for the Olympics to represent Canada.
Grateful for a busy day, hope I am not too tired to sleep. Praying for a good day tomorrow, and hopefully I didn't overdue it today.
Grateful for all of you who share this journey with me.
