Prayer:
O God,
When disappointments come to block my way, help me to see them as
stepping stones. They can be used for higher purposes and Your will for
my life. Teach me and guide me. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Prayer:
My Lord, Thank you for the friends in my life who know me, understand me and
accept me. Let the Holy Spirit work within me that I may be just as
loving, understanding and accepting of them. Amen.

Prayer:
O God,
When I am beaten down, lead me to get on my knees and pray so that
I may be lifted up and over the battle. It is in prayer that I am strengthened
and my armor set firmly in place that I mount up as on wings of eagles. Amen.

Prayer:
My Lord Jesus,
If I tear my branch away from the Vine, I will quickly wither and die.

O God,
Thank you for the gift of Your Word. It comforts my soul
when I feel in turmoil, gives me direction when I am lost
and instills wisdom when I need guidance. May I read it
with care and thoughtfulness so that I apply the words
to my daily life. Amen.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
If I am not picking up the oars and rowing, let me know loud and
clear. The 12 Steps are useless unless I work them. The Scriptures
are meaningless unless I apply them directly to my own life. Prayer
is fruitless unless it is pursued with all of my heart. Make me Your
instrument. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

O God,
Sometimes I seem to fail at everything I try. But it is in failure that I
learn what does not work. This, in turn, leads me to the things that
do work. Help me to persevere and keep trying until I finally do
succeed, for I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. Amen.

Almighty God,
When I ponder Your greatness I am truly humbled. And when I consider
