I Peter 2:9 (NLT):

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are a kingdom of priests, God's holy nation, his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Today’s Thought:

It is time we look at ourselves just as God sees us. We were once sinners but Jesus changed our course, by dying for us on the cross. We are now kings & priests!

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, thank You for dying for me! You are amazing! I ask that You help me see myself just as You see me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Psalm 116:1-2 — I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;

God is so responsive that you can always reach him. He bends down and listens to your voice. This writer's love for the Lord has grown because he has experienced answers to his prayers. If you are discouraged, remember that God is near, listening carefully to every prayer and answering each prayer in order to give you his best.

I Peter 2:12 (NLT):

Be careful how you live among your unbelieving neighbors. Even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will believe and give honor to God when he comes to judge the world.

Today’s Thought:

People watch you even when you do not realize it. We should live our lives in a way that everything we do glorifies Him. Are you living in such a matter? If not, start today!

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, I ask that my life be a mirror always pointed to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 2:16 (NLT): You are not slaves; you are free. But your freedom is not an excuse to do evil. You are free to live as God's slaves.

Today’s Thought: God will always forgive us of our sins. This does not give us the right to just go out and sin. We should try to live right always.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for always forgiving me when I mess up! I ask that You help me live as Your slave. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Thought: Respect & love are very important. When someone looks at your life, what will they say? You are full of love or hate? If hate, you can start over today.

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 2:21 (NLT): This suffering is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps.

Today’s Thought: We do not like to suffer. It goes against everything we’ve been taught. However, often the times we grow the most is in the times we are suffering the most. God is always right beside you and He will never allow more than you can handle.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me learn to trust You even more when I’m going through a rough time. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
