Default P-O-W-E-R Day 12: Occupy

P-O-W-E-R Day 12: Occupy by SGLY Ministry

Victory in ChristToday’s Scripture:
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
Whenever I write out today’s verse I want to add an exclamation point to it! For it is telling me that in Christ, we believers have been given the victory over sin and death! Now isn’t that worth exclaiming about!

We believers need to live daily in the truth and power of this scripture.
We need to occupy until Christ returns for us or until God takes us home.
Occupy means to take hold of something and hang onto it and that is what we need to be doing with this truth.
We need to believe, and live, in power of the victory we have been provided!

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to live in the power of Your Spirit daily, therefore I have to remind myself that I have been given the victory to do so!
Jesus gave me this victory, and the Holy Spirit’s presence within me enforces it. Therefore, I want to occupy in this power and victory here on earth each day I am alive!
Help me daily, Dear God, to remember this, and to do this!

Today’s Action: Occupy!
Take the victory Christ has given you!
Live in the power of His Spirit daily!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
