Healed
Son-Light Daily DevotionalDaily Devotional
from the desk of Pastor Curt McComis

Luke 9:11 "And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing."

Psalm 107:20 "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

Today maybe you are in need of healing of some sort. You may be in mental anguish because of many problems that have just come up. You may think the Lord has forsaken you during this time of trouble. We all know that things will happen suddenly, that will change our lives.

The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. This is His promise in Hebrews 13:5. Never means "never, no, not ever" and is a present imperative. The action of "no not ever" is always continuous. Yes, we can ask to be healed. Maybe you are sick, or maybe a loved one has walked out on you. Please if you will, look up the many verses on healing. Then study them until you have internalized every one about healing.

Christ Jesus has great compassion. Reach out and touch the hem of His garment. Today come to the Comforter, who wants to be a comforter to you. Come to Christ Jesus. He loves you. He would like to wipe the tears that run down hot upon your face. He bottles all of our tears. Tears of joy, or tears of sadness. Psalm 56:8 says, "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"

Our Lord truly knows all our hurts, and wounds. Turn to Him for comfort.

Bible References (KJV)

Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Always told people, I will pray for you and ask for healing. It is between my God and your God as to what you receive and how willing you are to do what you need to change.

Words are just that, words, until you put them into action and apply them to the area that needs healing.
