When We Are Weak
The kind of strength we need to do what is right is not the strength that comes from our own power. The kind of strength we need to do what is right comes from God. For when we are weak, He is strong. When we are having difficulties. When we are going through hard times. When we feel like there is no way out, God’s grace is all we need. His power works best in our weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (NLT) Dear Lord, there are so many times we are weak. There are times we are weak when we are distracted by the things of the world. There are times when we are weak when we are physically tired or sick. There are times when we are weak when we are submitting to temptations that cause self-inflicted heartaches and pain. Help us, Lord, to come to You each time we are weak so You can give us what we need to be strong for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen. The kind of strength we need comes from God’s grace. When we are weak, God is strong. What great promise we have from God who will help us when we are weak. God is all we need when we are weak. When we feel we can’t go on, God is ready and willing to help us. Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” (NLT) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...d=FRANCESLUCAS
