Hi all, I Augusta, I am in Alanon recovery. I am from an alcholic home and I also married one. Hi everyone nice to meet you. I hope to add this to my various ways to keep the focus on my recovery and peace and not to focus so much on other peoples problems.

Newbie
Hi! My name is Virginia and I'm an alcoholic. Its 3:30 am now and I'm up with my fibromyalgia pain. I have 12 days sober. Last week was spent in the hospital detoxing. I'm reading lots of helpful books and recovery apps on my Kindle and phone. Any suggestions for any good apps to help me in my recovery. Everything is changing and I get overwhelmed sometimes - especially when I can't. Sleep. I've been reading the daily readings on this site and its very helpful and wonderful!

Welcome Virginia, so glad you found us. There is a lot of recovery material, even material on Fibromyalgia because I have it too.
Click on the headings, not just the last post in each section and you will find lots of material. We do this one day at a time, congratulations on your 12 days. As was told, bring the body, and the mind will follow.
