As life springs forth in the natural world, my inner world blossoms
As life springs forth in the natural world, my inner world blossoms. Springtime brings flowers opening toward the sunlight. Rich soil and new leaves are nourished and refreshed by rain. Birds sing morning songs of joy. As life springs forth in the natural world, my inner world blossoms too. I feel the fresh air of Spirit moving through my entire being! In this season of new growth, divine ideas seed my mind, and my consciousness blossoms with spiritual understanding. I feel vitality in my body as I dance and move playfully. My voice sings out*—affirming my dreams, knowing new possibilities soon become probabilities. I embrace the season of new life with an open heart and an expectant, joyful spirit. Without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.–John 1:3-4 Daily Word

Have a dear friend who got in touch with her native roots. I love nature, brought up on a farm, but have always had a strong affinity for Native American teachings after they brought in an Elder to speak to us about the Medicine Wheel when I was in treatment. It had a big influence on me and how life come full circle and goes around in cycles.
At 7 years sober, there was a major awakening spiritually for me and another one at 14 years. I have been going through another one the last couple of years, which I find has drawn me closer to my God and my roots. A much more open mind that encompasses all things, and the HAND OF GOD in ALL things. Spring is here, a time of rebirth and new beginnings. My roots was a little Gospel Hall, with no fancy trimmings, nothing between me and God. A direct line where you stood up when you felt like speaking to Him and prayed. A lot of singing from the heart and a lot of praise, not the new music but the old gospel songs I was raise with. Yet it is about, don't leave Christ on the Cross, He is no longer there. He Lives and He lives within my Heart.
