Default Boldly Pray

BOLDLY PRAY

Prayer is something that may not be done as much as it should. Prayer is simply a conversation with God. When we pray, we go to Him acknowledging how great He is, we confess our sins, we thank Him for all He does and all we have. We pray for others and ask Him for what we need. God wants us to come to Him boldly and talk to Him about anything. When we speak out in prayer and tell Him what is on our hearts, we will draw closer to Him and be more willing to listen and obey.

1 John 5:14 "And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we come to You praying as You have called us to do. Not just because it is the right thing to do but because we want to draw closer to You and to know You better. We want to live in obedience to You. We want to know Your will for us and seek Your face every day. We know by praying bold prayers we can build our relationship with You which will help us keep You first and foremost in our minds. You are all we need. We are grateful for Your love, mercy and grace. Show us Your way for us to live. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God wants us to acknowledge Him in our prayers so we remember how great He is and all He is able to do.

Going to God in thanksgiving lets Him know we appreciate and give Him the glory for the blessings He has provided to us.

To boldly pray requires we speak what is in our hearts to God and let Him know how we really feel.

Asking God to help those in need reminds us to keep them in our minds and gives us peace knowing He is in control.

Psalm 51:2 "Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin." (NLT)

Focus: We are to boldly pray acknowledging who God is, confessing our sin, thanking Him for all He does and asking Him for help.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
