What is the official book of AA?
Big Book Online Fourth Edition - posted 2010 Complete text of "Alcoholics Anonymous" also known as "The Big Book" is available in English, French, and Spanish. This is the only site authorized to have it. www.aa.org/pages/en_US/alcoholics-anonymous Originally written in 1939, the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous is now in it's fourth edition. The first 164 pages remain unchanged since it's first edition in 1939. ====== About Dr. Bob's tattoo(s) .... A tattoo he wore the rest of his life was probably from those days at Dartmouth: a dragon and a compass tattoo. The dragon wound around his left arm from the shoulder to the wrist. It was blue with red fire. His son thinks "he had to have been drunk to have it put there, and you didn't do something that complicated in a day. When I asked him how he got it, he said, 'Boy, that was a dandy!' And it must have been, too."
