Hello, I am Lucy
My pattern is staying sober for months, then slipping and coming back to sobriety real soon because drinking makes me so sick. I keep trying though. I go to meetings and talk about it, and I listen a lot. I’m hoping to get some out patient help to add to my support. I really can’t drink; it is so bad for me. Ps. I have one day sober now and will keep posting my progress. I know it sounds pathetic but it’s a big deal. I’m in Michigan, by the way. We have good meetings here. |

Welcome Lucy, so glad to have you with us. Thanks for saying hello, sounds like you are doing the do things. We need to clean house, replace the old with the new, and for me, often praying for the willingness to be willing to do what I need to do to maintain my sobriety.
We do this one day at a time. Just for today, I choose not to use people, places, and things to take me out of my reality. I wish you well on your journey.
