Today’s Scripture: 2 Peter 2:9 (NLT): So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while punishing the wicked right up until the day of judgment.

Today’s Thought: God is for us and not against us. He will always take care of us. We need to trust Him no matter what we are going through today.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, I thank You for always taking care of me! I ask that You continue to help me put all my trust in You no matter what I go through. If there is anyone that needs to hear how much You take care of me today I ask that You give me the courage and words to talk to them. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Deuteronomy 15:7-8 NIV If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Isaiah 55:6

Proverbs 26:20-27

Without wood a fire goes out;
without a gossip a quarrel dies down.
As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire,
so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife.
The words of a gossip are like choice morsels;
they go down to the inmost parts.

Like a coating of silver dross on earthenware
are fervent lips with an evil heart.
Enemies disguise themselves with their lips,
but in their hearts they harbor deceit.
Though their speech is charming, do not believe them,
for seven abominations fill their hearts.
Their malice may be concealed by deception,
but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.
Whoever digs a pit will fall into it;
if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. Psalm 128:1
