Primary Concern
PRIMARY CONCERN
With all the events and issues in this world, we really need to look at what our own personal values are and what is our primary concern. We can't possible fix this entire world with our words and actions, but we can make a difference right where we are. And if we truly want to make a strong impact, we need to put God first in our lives. He should be our primary concern. Then He will give us what we need from day to day to live out the purpose He created for us. Matthew 6:33 "God will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern." (NLT) Dear Lord, we know there are so many things in this world that are not right. We see daily the news and things that sometimes shock us about what others are doing. Help us not to get distracted by these things of the world and not to put them as our primary concern. We know You must be first in our lives in order for us to do what is right in Your eyes. We give You the glory and we praise You for Your greatness. Help us Lord to remember to put You first and to do only Your will. In Jesus' name. Amen. God wants us to put Him first in every area of our lives. When we obey God and put Him first, He will help us do what is right and follow His plan. God will give us what we need from day to day when we put Him first in our lives. We can make God our primary concern by reading His word, talking to Him and listening to Him. The desires of our heart reveal what we think about most. Matthew 6:21 "Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be." (NLT) Focus: When we make God our primary concern, He will take care of the rest. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...log_id=6201837
