Default God Gives Strength

GOD GIVES STRENGTH

This time of year many of us get tired. We have so much to do. We have parties to go to. We have gifts to buy. We have our regular jobs to do. At the end of the day, we just want to crash because we know tomorrow we have to do it all again. If we are tired, we may need to examine our actions. Because God tells us if we are doing His word, He will give us strength. We will never tire of doing His work because He will always be with us. If we are tired, we may be doing too many worldly things and not enough things for God.

SCRIPTURE:
1 Timothy 1:12 "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him," (NLT)

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we want to be sure we are doing Your work. We want to know what Your will is for our lives. Show us things we can do that will make a difference to others and further Your Kingdom in Heaven. We are tired of being tired all the time. We know we are tired because the things we are doing are not according to Your plans but are our own plans. Show us Your way today. In Jesus' name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
If we are tired, we need to examine our actions and ask God to show us what we need to stop doing.

We will never tire doing God's work.

God will give us strength and bless us with peace when we do His work.

Psalm 29:11 "The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace." (NLT)

God will give us strength and keep us safe when we do His work.

FOCUS:
Psalm 28:8 "The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king." (NLT)

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
