Upside Down
Upside Down
Ye turn things upside down!” Isaiah. 29:16 Do you sometimes feel like this in your life? Nothing seems right; your life is a mess. You feel like the bottom has fallen out of your life. When you feel like that, its time to stop and remind yourself that God is in charge of your life. He is the Master Potter and sometimes He needs to work on areas of our life that will cause us to feel like our lives are being turned upside down. It is in these times that we need to trust God’s hand. He has promised that He will not give us more than we can bear. He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He has promised that He will complete the work that He began in our lives. You do not want Him to stop now! He is fashioning us for His use and He will not make a useless vessel. We need to submit to His hand and wait to see what miracle He is working. God so often works in ways that are so foreign to us. I rarely would work the way God does, and yet His ways are marvelous and the results are perfect. He has taught me to trust Him where I cannot understand Him. Father, when my life seems to be out of control, I yield control to You. Take me and mold me and turn things upside down if that is what you need to do. Give me patience to wait and see what You are doing in my life. Give me the strength necessary to continually leave myself in Your hands. Make something of beauty for Your glory and honor. Amen Quiet Waters
