Great Quotes

The following quote by Octavius Winslow has been edited and revised by Roy Lessin for Meet Me in the Meadow.
Where Can You Go?
Where can you go when you need clear direction and wise counsel? When the people of Israel were in need of godly wisdom and impartial judgment to resolve a difficult situation, Moses told them, “What is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will listen.” (Deuteronomy 1:17). Just as Moses reassured the people of Israel, so Jesus has the same reassuring words for you, “Bring to Me what is troubling you.”
Are you puzzled? Are your questions beyond the help of human wisdom?—take it, then, to Jesus. He will speak to you out of the treasure house of His eternal wisdom. What a welcome invitation you have received from the one who is greater than Moses.
In faith, bring all to Him—He can solve the unsolvable, reveal the hidden, simplify the complex. With Him nothing is impossible. Nothing escapes His understanding, nothing is unforeseen by His knowledge, nothing is unknown by Him who sees the end from the beginning.
Who is among you who [reverently] fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shining splendor [in his heart]? Let him rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God. Isaiah 50:10 AMP
