TALENTS AND SKILLS

We don’t have to be eloquent or use big words to fulfil God’s plan for our lives. He created us all different and we should never compare ourselves to others. We should never let naysayers bring us down. We should never let Satan destroy our minds with the thoughts he attempts to put in our heads saying we aren’t good enough. God’s plan for us is unique and He gives us what we need to do it. His plan requires our unique talents and skills. His purpose for us is important so we need to follow through. We need to start today!

1 Peter 4:10 “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, sometimes we wait for the perfect time to do things. Help us today to step out and do something. Help us to know You will be in the midst of what we do when we put our hope and trust in You. Reveal to us our talents and skills You have blessed us with and show us what we can do today to take action for You. Remind us today is the perfect time to get started. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We don't have to be eloquent or perfect, just take action for God!

Our talents and skills God has given us are already in us. We need to seek Him so He can reveal them to us.

We are to use our talents and skills to serve God and serve one another.

When we step out in faith doing what God has called us to do, He will show us the next steps.

We don’t need our own power to get things done for God, we need His power.

Philippians 2:13 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” (NLT)

Focus: We need to use our talents and skills we have received from God to help others now and not put it off another day.
