Default What are God’s plans for you?

flow25YOUR DAILY INSPIRATION

“As I have planned, so it will be;
As I have purposed it, so it will happen.”
Isaiah 14:24

There is a plan and purpose to this universe. To the billions and trillions of cosmic phenomenons to our own personal planet and all of its nations, affairs and histories. To you.

There is a Mind considering, plotting; working behind the scenes. There are Hands involved in a dozen distinct situations in your life – though they’ve always been hidden. There is a Mouth that has spoken with ultimate authority to the spirits, powers, kings, demons and angels in this world and there are Feet at which those powers have bowed.

There was a man named Isaiah who heard the voice of this Mighty One say, “I declare the end from the beginning and from long ago what is not yet done, saying, ‘My plan will take place and I will do all My will.’” Isaiah 46:10

See, one day this great God made a plan to cross a sea in a boat. But then a storm stood in His way. It seemed to those around Jesus that His plans would be thwarted by the awesome power of nature. But quietly and calmly He spoke three little words: “Peace. Be still.” And the storm did. His plans will not be thwarted.

Before the foundation of the world, the Three-In-One planned to make a people for Himself. Sin quickly came and stood in the way, completely separating Him from His people. So He walked the long road to a cross, died and Job’s millenia-old words became true: “You will cover over my sins.” (14:17) What God has planned, nothing can stop.

And what about you, sister? What are God’s plans for you? Well, I can’t tell you exactly, but I can tell you all you need to know. He has said, “I know the plans I have for you – plans for your welfare, not for disaster. To give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

So go ahead, join Job and say these wonderful words with all your heart:

“God is unchangeable!
Who can oppose Him?
He does what He desires.
He will certainly accomplish
what He has decreed for me.”
(23:13,14)

- Ruthy Hobbs

“From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
No one can undo what I have done.”

Isaiah 43:13

Lord, You are good and Your plans for me are good! Remind me this week that I am not walking alone in a chaos-filled world. I am walking with You and what You have planned will happen. Thank you for Your love and mercy, Lord.
