Knowing Peace
The pace in which our life moves will generally slow down after we go through starting recovery in our life , this will usually take some getting use to. Not many of us know what it's like to know peace, it's nothing something that we're very familiar with, or had very much experience in before we get to recovery. We'll find out it is a big part of recovery, and will happen as the result of living by the program that's found in recovery. After the many years we all have had of living a frantic life, knowing peace will be something we'll learn to like very easily. Though at times we can react to it as if we should be busy doing something instead, and that if we're not we're headed for trouble we'll find there's a difference between resting on our laurels, and knowing peace, and that's found in the slow and steady pace of recovery that we get use to. Enjoy your peace we've all paid the price for it.
