So Much Pride
Pride is an awful thing for all of us who have this problem. Normally seen as a virtue to most people it nearly kills all of us who have this problem. There is nothing wrong with any of us having pride where we all got ourselves into trouble was having so much pride that we became too proud to ask for help with this problem that none of us can solve on our own. This is where most of us end up dying from this problem because we're too proud to ask for help or are capable of receiving it when it comes our way. Just like with this problem, most of us are unaware of our pride until it becomes hurt by all the many humiliations all of us have been through. Recovery shows us how all of us can lower our pride enough that we're able to get the help we need with this problem and that by doing it this way we found it to be far less painful then all the humiliations all of us have gone through. We either try to humble ourselves enough by being in recovery or we can continue to go through all the humiliating experiences we're all going to get with having this problem. The choice is ours to make.
