This problem of ours, the one that all of us who are new to recovery are now just beginning to slowly recognize and learn about, is believed to have always been with us and that it never goes away for any of us who have it. The best we can all hope for is for all of us to find some way of learning how to live with it or we will all surely end up dying as the result of having it. No matter how it is that it has shown in each of our lives that brings all of us to recovery we all must understand that this problem is not one dimensional and that it comes at all of us from all kinds of different angles, and always with the same intent of having us do ourselves in. Any who believe that they have mastered this problem will soon be headed for trouble when life hands out one of the many other difficulties that everyone else gets. They will then see where they stand with this problem of ours. It's the combination of having this problem and the other difficulties of life that has been too much for all of us to handle and where we all will become shipwrecked and then destroyed by this problem of ours that never goes away. If we all want to learn how to live with this problem then all of us are in the right place because that's what recovery is all about so that we can all learn to live with it without having to die from having it.
