Really liked this because I was told the same many years ago. When we assassinate the character of another one or ourselves, we take away from them and it is mental murder.
We have a disease of perception and what others see may not be the same as what we see, no saying who is right or wrong, but it is something I pray and ask for healing daily. Always try to remember that what I see reflected in others, is something coming from within me, it may not take the same form but has the same consequences. I like these prayers because they seem more personal and for the most part, I can identify and own them.
