Today’s Scripture: 2 Peter 1:12-13 (NLT): I plan to keep on reminding you of these things-even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth. Yes, I believe I should keep on reminding you of these things as long as I live.

Today’s Thought: It is good to be reminded from time to time of what the Lord brought you out of. It will be such an encouragement to you and those around you.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for saving my life! I ask that You help me never forget what You have brought me out of. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Luke 6:27-31 — "But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Love for Enemies

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
