This brings back some memories. When I married my second husband, we were married in the Anglican church. The pastor wanted me to join his church. He said, "Why do you not want to join?" I said, "It says in the Bible to make a joyful noise onto the Lord. Your music is anything but joyful, for the most part it is down right mornful." He didn't have a reply. I didn't go to church that often, but I liked the simplicity of the Gospel Halls. Nothing between me and God.
