Default Continue To Work

CONTINUE TO WORK

Sometimes we wonder why we work. Of course, it is to get a paycheck so we can meet our basic needs in life. But there is more to it than that. Our work should be something we enjoy doing. If we are not happy at work, then we need to re-evaluate what we are doing and why we are doing it. If we are in a job and feel stuck or unappreciated, we need to remember to put God first in our jobs. When we do, He will help us look at our jobs differently and help us endure so we can work not only for a paycheck but for His Kingdom. When we do all our work for the Lord, we will begin to see a change in us and those around us.

Colossians 3:23 “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to work willing for You every day. Whether we are at home. Whether we are on our jobs. No matter what we are working on. Let Your Light shine through us. Help us to remember to be open to allowing Your love to show through us to others. We want to build relationships with those around us so we can share Your Good Word with them. Help us to look at our jobs differently and remember we are to continue to do good work until we return Home to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we continue to work with the mindset we are working for God, He will help us show love and help others.

Work is not just about doing a job to make a living. Work is about serving God in all we do and working for Him.

When we are struggling at work, we need to focus on God.

We are to work willingly for God every day asking Him what we need to do and doing it.

God has a plan for us and wants us to continue to do His work until we leave this earth.

Philippians 1:6 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (NLT)

Focus: Whatever our job is to do today, let’s do it for the Lord and show love to others.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
