Default Let’s live as though God is for us

Let’s live as though God is for us

I was reading a blog a while ago, and a statement the writer made somewhere in the article jumped out at me. I don’t remember the exact words she wrote, but I remember thinking after I finished reading:
I should always live like God is for me – because He is!

I tried to find the link to the article again this morning so I could share it with you all, but I have been unsuccessful so far. I don’t remember the title of the post or what the main subject was about. All I remember is my take away from it – Let’s live as though God is for us (my paraphrase). Wow.

Let’s live as though God is for us. This concept seems so simple, yet so profound. Through the scriptures, we are reminded again and again that God is for us. He is not against us. God wants what’s best for us. His plans for us are good, not evil. God is for us!

Let’s look at some God is for us Bible Verses:
Romans 8:31-32, ESV What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

Psalm 118:6, NASB The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

Romans 8:28, NIV And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:9, ESV God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
