Default God will strengthen us and encourage us

ENCOURAGEMENT STRENGTHENS

We all need strength. Without it we would be weak and helpless. Some of us need strength and willpower to get things done because we procrastinate. Some of us need strength and willpower to eat right and exercise so we will be healthier. Some of us need strength and willpower to save money, build better relationships or work harder on the job. Whatever our weakness, God can help. His grace and eternal encouragement can work in our hearts and strengthen us to do what is right and good.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. (NIV)

Dear Lord, thank You for Your word which encourages and directs us. Thank You for Your eternal encouragement and good hope You give to us to do what is right. Thank You for encouraging our hearts and strengthening us to do good. We need You because without You we are weak. We are broken. We mess up. Please guide us today and strengthen us to do what is right. In Jesus name. Amen.

God can work in our hearts and encourage us to remain strong when we lean on Him.

God is able to encourage us with His strength when we are weak and helpless.

Isaiah 35:3 With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. (NLT)

We are able to be strong when we lean on God and be encouraged by His word.

God wants us to wake up and lean on Him for encouragement and strength to do what is right for us and others.

Revelation 3:2a Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. (NLT)

Focus: When we rely on God for all our needs, He will strengthen us and encourage us to keep going.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
