What Is Required

WHAT IS REQUIRED

If we really want to know our purpose in life and God’s plan for us, we first have to do what He requires of us to do. Having the right relationship with God and being obedient to Him will draw us closer to Him and help us know His will for us. God tells us to do what is right – even if no one else is doing it. God tells us to love mercy which means to forgive and to help others. God tells us to walk humbly with Him meaning we should put Him first and let Him guide our lives. When we do those things, we will be doing what He requires of us and we will know His plan for our lives.

Micah 6:8 “No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to be obedient children. We want to do what is Your will. We know You give us requirements as believers and we are to follow them and obey You. Help us to remember to do what is required and give you all the glory as we obey You. Thank You for our blessings. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for Your loving guidance. We are so grateful for Your word which leads us back to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God tells us what is required as believers. It is up to us to follow through.

If we want to know God’s plans for us, we need to get into His word.

God has plans for us but we need to do what He requires of us to better know Him and His plans.

Having the right relationship with God will help us know His plans for us.

We should never get tired of doing what is required of us by God.

Galatians 6:9 “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (NLT)

Focus: When we know what God requires of us and we obey Him, we will know His plans for us.
