DIG DEEPER

If we want to get really good at something, we usually practice. We sometimes take a class and study what we need to know in order to grow and develop that skill. Knowing God�s word and having a relationship with Him is the same. If we want a firm foundation, we need to get deeper into His word, spend some quality time with Him and practice what we learn from Him. He is the expert on life. And, once we learn more about Him, we are to share His word, His favor and His love with others.

Numbers 6:24-26 �May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.� (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for the favor and peace You give us when we focus on You. Thank You for Your protection and blessings. Thank You for Your grace and mercy and love. We have so much to be thankful for when we stay focused on You. Help us to have a strong desire to grow nearer to You each day and share Your wonderful blessings, love and favor with others. In Jesus� name. Amen.

If we want a firm foundation in life so we are not shaken when bad things happen, we need to get deeper into God�s word.

Mark 4:17 �But since they don�t have deep roots, they don�t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God�s word.� (NLT)

God�s favor to those who obey Him should be shared with others so they will know how truly great He is.

It is more blessed to give than receive (Acts 20:35). We should share God�s favor with others.

God wants to be our God. He wants us to be His people.

Leviticus 26:12 �I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people.� (NLT)

Focus: Look for ways every day to draw closer to God and know Him better.
